Riskalyze's integration with Salesforce allows you to import clients from Salesforce and sync Risk Numbers from Riskalyze Clients and Portfolios back into Salesforce. Before you connect Salesforce to your Riskalyze account, make sure your Salesforce admin has configured the integration according to the article Salesforce: How to Set Up.
Connect Salesforce to Riskalyze
Before you connect Salesforce to your Riskalyze account, make sure your Salesforce admin has configured the integration according to the article Salesforce: How to Set Up. Once your Salesforce Administrator has completed setup, follow the steps below to get started.
- Open Riskalyze, then go to Menu > Settings > Integrations
- Click on Salesforce in the integrations list
- Click Connect
- Enter your Salesforce Username and Password
- Click Login to complete the connection
Success! Riskalyze Settings will reload and a checkmark next to the Salesforce integration will indicate that you are connected.
Salesforce Sync Options
Choose what information gets synced by going back to the Integrations page and clicking on Salesforce again. Sync options will appear here once Salesforce and Riskalyze have been successfully integrated. The options available are:
- Pull Contacts: Allows advisors to link Salesforce Contacts to Riskalyze clients. Riskalyze will push Client Risk Number, Current Portfolio Risk Number, and Proposed Portfolio Risk Number over to Salesforce whenever updates are made.
- Push Leads: Creates a new Contact in Salesforce with a connected Riskalyze Lead each time an investor completes the Lead Generation Questionnaire.
Create a New Riskalyze Client from Salesforce
Start from the Advisor Dashboard. Click "Add New Client", select the Salesforce integration, then type in the client's name—in full or part—and Riskalyze will populate the matching names of Salesforce Contacts for you to choose from. Click on the contact you want and a new active client will be created in Riskalyze.
Link an Existing Riskalyze Client to Salesforce
Use this option if your clients already exist in Riskalyze, or to household multiple Salesforce Contacts into one Riskalyze Client Profile. Open the client profile you wish to link and click on the Client Actions button then Integrations to configure Integrations. Search for the desired Salesforce Contact by name and click to connect. Repeat as desired to connect multiple Salesforce Contacts to a single Riskalyze Client Profile.

Frequent Questions
If a prospect fills out the Lead Generation Questionnaire on my website, will their information be copied to Salesforce as a Contact?
Yes! If a client fills out the Lead Generation Questionnaire (including their phone number at the end), that client contact info will be used to create a Salesforce Contact and a linked Riskalyze Lead. Learn more about embedding the Lead Generation Questionnaire in your website.
Why do I get a message that "this contact is already linked?"
Because Riskalyze pushes a client's Risk Number and active portfolio Risk Number to Salesforce, a Salesforce contact can only be linked to one Riskalyze client profile.
There are a few reasons you might see this message: (a) the contact might be linked to another client profile in your account or (b) the contact might be linked to a Riskalyze client profile in another advisor's account. If you use Riskalyze Data Sharing, you can share linked clients with other advisors within your Team. Otherwise, only one advisor will be able to have that contact linked to a Riskalyze client profile.
What if I have two Riskalyze client profiles and two Salesforce contacts, and I want them all together?
Choose which Riskalyze client profile you'd like to keep. Delete the other one. Then, open the remaining client profile, click "More" then "Integrations". There you will see the Salesforce icon and be able to link the other Salesforce contact to that profile.
