- add clients,
- search for clients,

3. Create your first client
Check out the video below to learn how you can quickly create a Nitrogen client profile. Many advisors use their client profiles to prep for meetings and engage clients in the Risk Number process.
To quickly add a client, use the Add New Client button on your home screen. Then you can type in a client or household name manually or search from an integration. Click Add Client to create the profile in your account.
The most successful advisors connect at least one integration with a third-party platform (think custodians, data aggregators, CRM platforms, etc.) to streamline adding clients to Nitrogen. You can learn more about our integrations by visiting nitrogenwealth.com/tech-stack.
4. Add a client's portfolio
Once a client profile is created, many advisors will add a current portfolio to assess how much risk a client or prospect currently has using the Risk Number. If you have access to a client or prospect's current portfolio, you can choose whether you add a portfolio by
- Enter holdings manually
- Importing a file
- Syncing with your integration
You can take a deep dive in our Working with Client Portfolios guide or watch the video below to see how to manually add holdings.
5. Capture a Risk Number
To maximize client engagement using Nitrogen, top advisors use the built-in risk questionnaire to pinpoint someone's Risk Number and help them understand how much risk they want to take.
Check out the video here to see where to find the questionnaire and how to use it with your clients and prospects to start capturing Risk Numbers.
