How to activate early access features
In order to use the new portfolio experience, you’ll need to make sure that your account is provisioned for these features.
Note: The All-New Portfolio Experience is only available via an early access program, if you’d like to learn more about this beta program, please email us at email@example.com.
To get started, navigate to Menu > Settings > Early Access. Click the toggle to enable the new workflow.
How to access the All-New Portfolio Experience
To navigate to the new workflow, start on your client dashboard, search for a client, and click on the PORTFOLIO Tab.
Note: You will need to click on the PORTFOLIO tab text (not the current portfolio visual) in order to launch the All-New Portfolios.
How to access the classic portfolio experience
While the new portfolio experience is incredibly fast, it isn’t fully functional during this beta program. If you want to edit your portfolio, you’ll need to switch to Classic mode. To edit your portfolio in Classic mode, click on the CLASSIC EXPERIENCE button. This will open up the standard portfolio interface you are accustomed to with all of the original editing capabilities.
Adding, removing, editing holdings in the All-New Portfolios Experience
Once you are in the new portfolio experience, you’ll notice a familiar look and feel that you are accustomed to in Riskalyze.
From the portfolio screen, you can view your client accounts, account holdings, Risk Numbers, 95% Historical Range, portfolio stats, and asset classification.
To add a holding to a portfolio, navigate to the Add Investment or model box at the bottom of the portfolio. From here you can search for a specific ticker or security name and add it to the portfolio using a percentage or dollar value.
Note: Adding models to a portfolio is not currently supported in P7, but will be available in the coming weeks.
To remove a holding, simply check the circle next to the security (or securities) and click the trash button that appears at the bottom of the screen.
How to access Stress Tests
The All-New Portfolio Experience includes five default Stress Tests for every advisor. The default Stress Tests are a 2013 Bull Market, 2008 Bear Market, Financial Crisis, Interest Rate Hike, and 2020 Pandemic. Each stress test shows the advisor the date range used to build the scenario, the historical performance of the S&P in that timeframe, plus what the client portfolio is likely to do if the same market conditions occur again. This allows advisors to stress test investments that may not have even existed in the past.
You can access these Stress Tests at the portfolio level by scrolling down to the bottom of the client overview page.
Note: We are actively adding new features to the All-new Portfolio Experience.
